Non-Invasive Pain Relief for Dogs
Dog Laser Therapy is a cost effective revolutionary treatment for some of the most painful conditions that we see in pet dogs. Arthritis in dogs can be very serious and difficult to manage. Laser therapy offers relief for dog arthritis, they really enjoy the treatment.
One of the reasons that dog laser therapy is so effective is because it reduces inflammation and pain. We see a significant increase in movement abilities in dogs after treatment. After multiple treatments we see a significant increase in flexibility.
Studies of successful use of laser therapy in promoting tissue repair and pain reduction are well established.
Geriatric dogs love laser treatments. Many geriatric dogs will have multiple health conditions that can make medicating them difficult (e.g. some common arthritis medications are known to aggravate kidney conditions). Having a method to reduce a dog's reliance on pain medication can be a real game changer.

CONDITIONS THAT CAN BE TREATED WITH DOG LASER THERAPY
Dog Laser Therapy is frequently used to help control pain for conditions such as dog arthritis, joint strain, digestive and urinary conditions, recovery from surgery, dog dentistry and skin conditions.
Laser Therapy is known to stimulate healing. Treatment can provide relief for lick granulomas and other skin conditions.
Laser therapy is not used for eye or vision complaints or (in most cases) for cancer.
How Does it work
A Vet Laser Therapy Package Customised for your pet
For the best results, it is usually better to start with more frequent laser session and then gradually scale the frequency of your pet's treatments back.
Acute conditions will require more frequent treatments. For particularly acute hospital cases, daily treatment can be both beneficial and very practical.
Burwood Vet offers both individual session prices and a package deal. Prices vary depending on the length and number of protocols your pet requires. Package Deals are priced so that every 6th session is free.

Dog Laser Therapy Testimonials
"My pekinese, Rosie was really struggling to walk. She had jarred her back and was just refusing to move. She'd take a few steps and go splat. I came to Burwood Vet for laser therapy and she is like a new dog. She seemed to really love the treatment and the glasses she wore were so cute! She looked like a bikie dog!!"

Client at Burwood Vet
"We used to go to a different vet for laser therapy that was much more expensive. When they closed down, we found it really hard to find another clinic that really understood the benefits of dog laser therapy. Sally was really suffering from arthritis. The staff at Burwood were so good at helping us get her back on track and controlling her pain. She always wants to run around like a puppy the day after treatment. It makes such a difference!"
